Lee Constantine has served as a public official in Florida for over 38 years. A University of Central Florida graduate, he began his political career in 1978 as the youngest elected official in Altamonte Springs history, serving 14 years as Commissioner and Mayor. He later spent 8 years in the Florida House and 10 years in the Florida Senate, representing Orange and Seminole Counties, before being elected Seminole County Commissioner in 2012.

Recognized as one of Central Florida’s most influential leaders, Constantine is known for his legislative expertise, especially in state budgeting, education, and environmental policy. His key legislative achievements include the Save Our Everglades, Florida Forever, Payday Loan Reform, Wekiva Parkway & Protection Act, and SunRail initiatives.

He chairs the Wekiva River Basin Commission, leads the East Central Florida Regional Planning Council, and holds leadership roles with 1,000 Friends of Florida and the Florida Conservation Coalition. He also founded Charity Challenge, Inc., which has raised over $6 million for Florida charities. In addition to his public service, Constantine works as a consultant for corporations and government agencies.
