Jessica Schuman

Member of the Board, Divisional Chief Legal Officer for AdventHealth

Jessica Schuman is a healthcare attorney, serving as Divisional Chief Legal Officer for AdventHealth, where she provides legal counsel on a wide array of health law issues, including Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, medical staff affairs, physician transactions, employment agreements, patient concerns, and board governance. She is dedicated to serving on the AdventHealth Women’s Leadership Forum Steering Committee, the AdventHealth Risk Management Advisory Council, and leading the West Florida Division Ladies Who Lead Chapter.

Jessica was born and raised in New Jersey, moved to Tampa/St. Pete, FL in 2005, and recently relocated to Winter Park. She received her bachelor’s degree from The George Washington University and her law degree from the University of Miami School of Law.

She is a dedicated mother to her 7-year-old son, Bennett, wife to her supportive and loving husband, Dan, and cat mom to Waffles and Penelope. She is a voracious reader and loves to travel.
